Flash Fiction #1

PHOTO PROMPT Copyright-Madison Woods

He had bragged at dinner last night he had found a treasure at the beach yesterday, how he had hidden it where little sisters or pirates couldn’t find it.

His friends came early this morning and they all have left for the beach again today. I know where his hiding place is, he thinks just because I am a girl it’s safe up there, but I’ll show him.

I grab the rope from the shed and throw it over the lowest branch and climb the trunk until I am up.

A little higher and it is mine.  HAH!  Take that…

  1. Dear Ladyryl,

Never tell a girl she can’t have or find something. 😉 Nicely done. And while I’m at it, welcome to Friday Fictioneers. I look forward to reading more from you.

    Shalom,
